Paddlesteamers
Echuca-Moama is home to Australia\//s famous inland port and the worlds largest collection of paddlesteamers, providing an insight into life on the river 100 years ago. Visitors can enjoy short trips, lunch and dinner cruises or overnight stays.
Historic Port Area
Visit a \//living museum\// adjoining the wharf on the mighty Murray River. Horse drawn carriages, historic buildings, hotels, tearooms, and a working blacksmith and wood turner add to the character and atmosphere at this historic precinct.
Fishing
Echuca literally means the meeting of the waters and although the Echuca-Moama area is probably better known for its water skiing, many fishing experts believe that Echuca-Moama is the most underappreciated freshwater fishery along the Murray.
Walking & Cycling
One of the best ways to enjoy Echuca-Moama is to walk or cycle around the area. There are a couple of scenic routes taking advantage of the flat terrain, while at the same time providing glimpses of this area not available by car.
